Amazing experience. There were 4 of us and we asked for a quadraple room and they provided that for us. The staff were so lovely. Stay was amazing. I would certainly come back. Sky bar is gorgeous, but you need to reserve your table outside at the sky bar to have dinner here.
Hotel Almudaina is in an excellent location, with the main shopping streets, restaurants, and bars all within easy walking distance. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. The hotel was clean, the air conditioning worked well during the summer heat,l. My main disappointment was the room itself. I stayed in Room 301, which had an unusual layout with only one small window positioned in a corner overlooking what appeared to be a service area or void. As a result, the room had very little natural light. This was quite different from the photos online, which showed much brighter rooms with large windows, so it didn’t match my expectations. The tiled hallways also meant that noise travelled easily throughout the hotel. I could hear guests coming and going, rolling luggage, conversations, and housekeeping in the morning. It was manageable for a one-night stay, but I think it could become frustrating if you were staying for several nights and are a light sleeper. Overall, the hotel has plenty of positives, particularly its fantastic location, friendly staff, and cleanliness. However, at €233 per night, I expected a room that better matched the advertised photos and offered a quieter, more comfortable experience. It’s a good option if location is your priority.
We have been visiting The Almudaina in central Palma for years, the staff in all departments are welcoming, helpful, cheerful and want you to have a great time. The rooms are always spotless, the beds so comfortable you don’t want to wake up. Reception, run by Daniel, is excellent and they are willing to assist with any queries you may have. The Sky Bar is a great place for a drink, a snack or lunch/evening meals. The staff know their jobs and are always cheerful and happy, especially Augustina, a perfect member of staff. So if you want to be surrounded by shops, excellent food from The Sky Bar (don’t forget to book your meals on arrival) and eat with amazing views of the Cathedral and Harbour, you will not be disappointed and you will tell all your friends. My husband and I were here for our 28th wedding anniversary. It was great! The only thing we would suggest is that the cleaning staff be much quieter when there are Do Not Disturb signs placed on doors. Otherwise exceptional stay. Perfect location for shopping and eating.
